A good meal should leave the body quiet.

When a meal is truly balanced, nothing feels excessive and nothing feels lacking. The body becomes settled. The mind grows calm. A quiet sense of well-being remains. 

This feeling of inner stillness is what we strive for in every meal we prepare.

My sister (chef) often says that cooking begins with caring. The dishes she prepares are not intended to impress people with complexity or extravagance.

Instead, she hopes that each meal will bring a sense of comfort, ease, and quiet happiness.

 

Many guests tell us that after eating her food, they feel relaxed, nourished, and somehow at home. That is perhaps the best description of our cuisine.Food that allows both body and mind to rest.

Our chef, Miho (M), is a certified nutritionist, a macrobiotic cooking instructor, and has more than 40 years of cooking experience.

Having experienced her own health challenges in the past, she understands how important it is to prepare food that is gentle, nourishing, and satisfying.

Using carefully selected organic ingredients from Japan, we prepare each meal by hand with care and attention.

 

If our meal helps you feel a little more relaxed, a little more energized, and a little more at home during your journey, we will be very happy.
